I booked an apartment in Feb 2020 with Sunteck Maxxworld. While booking, your sales team used to call me and update me regarding appointment and payments. I had an amazing experience with sunteck till the day i gave them the token amount. Amid of Covid crisis in May, sunteck issued 2nd demand letter asking for payment in 1 week. I wanted to take loan coz of financial issues but amid of Covid, when there was lockdown across the state, getting loan in a week was almost close to impossible. Hence, i tried to reach the sales person and explained her my problem. She said she cannot help and i have to pay the amount in a week. Missing the due would lead to 18% interest as penalty. I tried to reach sunteck in all possible numbers that i got via internet but could not reach any of them. Finally, i raised my voice in MAHARERA Conciliation Forum and in 2days i received call from sunteck and sunteck gave me a grace period of 45 days. i did all my loan formalities and paid stamping and registration amount 20 days before the end of grace period so that i can proceed with my registration and loan. Sunteck delayed my registration process and they gave my original agreement and NOC after 1.5 months post the payment of registration and stamping amount, due to which my disbursement got delayed. For this delay sunteck charged me the penalty and they also charged me penalty for the grace period too. I have sent n number of emails asking them to waive off the penalty because it was a delay from sunteck end causing my loan process to delay, but sunteck wont reply or they just ignore saying my case is under discussion. When i try to call the sales person, he disconnects the call. It is approx 5 month and yet i did not get any update on my case and my penalty amount is getting summed up. I sent multiple emails to their grievances email id but no response. Tried to reach people on Sunteck customer care but could not get connected. Tried to call the sales person but no one picks ups the call. I paid my hard earned money to Sunteck and if this the way you treat your existing customers then how should i recommend Sunteck to my friends.
